Steps to make turmeric pickle at home
Step 1: First of all, wash the raw turmeric thoroughly and remove its peel with light hands.
Step 2: Now roast mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds together in a pan, and grind them in a mixer.
Step 3: Now add chopped turmeric, mustard and fenugreek seeds powder, red chilli powder, salt, sugar and asafoetida in a vessel and mix well.
Step 4: Now add fresh lemon juice in the same vessel, mix all the ingredients well again.
Step 5: Now finally heat oil in the pan, add mustard seeds and asafoetida to it and add it to the prepared pickle mixture and mix well.
Step 6: Store the pickles in a glass jar, and keep them in sunlight for 7 days. Mix the pickle as per requirement by shaking the jar occasionally.
